Barbell Basics:

A youthful spin on our most popular class – but just for teens! Barbell Basics: Rack Pack teaches kids ages 13 – 18 the fundamentals of strength training under the direction of certified personal trainer Rene Soto at our Mill Valley location. Students will work with the rack, barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells, and other equipment as they learn the proper technique of core strength training movements during the 60-minute session.

Schedule & Pricing

The program will run from February 6 – March 30 and will take place on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at The Yard at Tam Junction.

About the Instructor

Classes will be led by Rene Soto, a certified personal trainer with a BS in kinesiology and over ten years of professional training experience.

His style emphasizes strength, conditioning, and mobility training; he teaches his clients that moving well is just as important as getting stronger.
